TERAO ECOSYSTEM
TERAO believes that a collaborative effort with our design partners will enable intrinsic sustainable design, wherein buildings and cities operate flexibly and resiliently.
TERAO embeds its expertise within a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach. For us, intelligence is collective, and we are committed to contributing to the advancement of knowledge and its dissemination within an ecosystem that brings together researchers, engineers, decision-makers, and users.
Our ambition: to promote progress by acting as a bridge between innovation and reality.
Our engineering DNA drives us to be at the forefront of cutting-edge solutions, with a focus on their operational and techno-economic feasibility within real-world constraints.
HUB OF LOW-CARBON SPECIFIERS
This initiative, led by the French Institute for Building Performance (IFPEB), is aimed at key decision-makers in the construction sector (property companies, investors, developers, general contractors, etc.).
The Low-Carbon Prescribers Hub aims to share best practices, manage a resource-sharing platform for decision support and collaborative work, and assist project owners, engineering firms, and companies in optimizing their designs and/or specifications. It also seeks to encourage manufacturers to develop low-carbon solutions.
AICVF,Association of Engineers and Technicians in Climate Control, Ventilation, and Refrigeration
The AICVF aims to contribute to the scientific, technical, and technological development of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and control industries, as well as their related branches, which support the management of eco-climates and the improvement of building energy performance while respecting the environment.
It thus contributes to the mastery of indoor environments and climates and ensures the dissemination of information, training, and professional development for stakeholders in the sector.
IncliBâti, Research program on the vulnerability of buildings to climate risks
As part of ADEME’s research call for proposals “Towards Responsible Buildings” and with the goal of better adapting buildings and urban projects to climate change, the working group comprising CEREMA, OID, TERAO, and TIPEE aims to develop a new climate risk indicator for buildings.
This index will address the resilience of buildings and the territorial dynamics they are part of, considering both intrinsic criteria—technical solutions, usage, etc.—and extrinsic criteria—infrastructure, environment, networks, etc.—to establish levels of risk and vulnerability.
OUR INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS
Our ability to address international challenges makes TERAO one of the leading independent environmental engineering firms, staying closely aligned with current events and on-the-ground realities. They trust us and collaborate with us to develop national and international synergies:
